## Responsibilities

- Lead Technical Discovery and Proof-of-Concept Engagements: Partner with Account Executives to conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions with prospective enterprise customers. Lead proof-of-concept engagements that demonstrate Grok platform capabilities including Cursor, Grok Bot, and the Grok API. Scope customer technical requirements and design evaluation frameworks that validate business value within customer engineering workflows.
- Build End-to-End Solution Prototypes: Develop working prototypes connecting multiple tools, agents, and APIs to demonstrate complete AI workflow automation. Showcase real-world use cases that illustrate how Grok integrates into customer systems, developer productivity pipelines, and business processes. Create functional demonstrations that prove technical feasibility and ROI impact.
- Architect Custom AI Solution Designs: Translate complex customer requirements into comprehensive solution architectures. Design end-to-end implementations spanning AI agents, tool integrations, control mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop safeguards. Provide strategic guidance on prompt engineering, context configuration, rollout strategy, and best practices for implementing enterprise-grade AI systems.
- Build and Maintain Customer Technical Relationships: Develop deep, trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, developers, and technical decision-makers. Serve as the authoritative technical advisor for customer organizations, understanding their engineering challenges and advocating for solutions that optimize developer productivity and business outcomes.
- Deliver Technical Presentations and Workshops: Design and deliver customized technical presentations, whiteboard architecture sessions, and hands-on workshops tailored to customer technical requirements. - Act as Internal Customer Advocate: Represent customer interests within SpaceXSI, escalating critical feedback to Product and Engineering teams. ## About the Role

We're hiring Field Engineers to partner with prospective and growing commercial customers. As a Field Engineer, you'll be the technical face of SpaceX Super Intelligence in the field, helping customers evaluate the Grok platform, including Cursor, Grok Bot and the Grok API, guiding them through proofs of concept, and ensuring they see the full value of AI across their engineering workflows and wider business processes.

You'll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders. This is a highly customer-facing role where you'll combine deep technical fluency with strong communication skills to drive adoption and influence product direction.
