## Responsibilities

- Design and Build Customer-Facing Growth Features: Architect and implement high-impact features that directly improve customer acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization metrics. Focus on delivering intuitive user experiences that enable customers to discover product value faster and achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Lead Experimentation and Product Validation: Design, implement, and analyze product experiments using feature flags, A/B testing frameworks, and multi-variant testing strategies. Translate hypotheses into measurable experiments, collect data-driven insights, and use statistical analysis to validate product decisions before full-scale rollouts.
- Build Analytics Instrumentation and Event Pipelines: Develop reliable event tracking systems, data collection pipelines, and instrumentation that enable cross-functional teams to understand customer behavior patterns. Ensure data quality and accessibility for analytics-driven decision-making across Product, Marketing, and Data teams.
- Mentor Engineers and Shape Technical Culture: Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and knowledge sharing. Help establish engineering practices that promote rapid experimentation, maintain high code quality standards, and enable confident decision-making across the team.
- Optimize Performance, Reliability, and Scalability: Continuously improve the performance and reliability of critical user journeys in the product. Focus on accessibility compliance, scalability for growing user bases, and operational excellence through observability, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
- Collaborate Across Functional Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to identify growth opportunities, validate ideas through customer research and experimentation, and translate feedback into technical solutions that drive sustainable business growth.
- Contribute to Technical Strategy and Roadmap Planning: Participate in architectural decisions, technical design discussions, and long-term platform planning. ### YOUR MISSION

 As a Senior Software Engineer on the Growth & Engagement team, you'll build the products, platforms, and experimentation capabilities that help customers discover value faster and achieve more with our product. You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and other Engineering teams to identify opportunities, validate ideas through experimentation, and deliver experiences that improve customer outcomes and drive sustainable business growth.

### WHAT YOU'LL BRING

* 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer building and operating production software.
* Strong proficiency building modern web applications. Experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB or similar technologies, with the ability to become productive quickly.
* Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and the broader AI tooling ecosystem and the ability to quickly learn emerging AI technologies.
* Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery.
* Experience building customer-facing products in close partnership with Product and Design teams.
* A product mindset with the ability to balance customer needs, technical tradeoffs, and business goals.
* Experience using analytics and data to inform engineering and product decisions.
