## Responsibilities

- Design Agentic Growth Systems: Architect agentic growth systems that autonomously monitor performance metrics, diagnose failures in real-time, execute approved experiments, and iteratively improve from results. These systems will leverage AI to automate optimization cycles that traditionally require manual intervention from growth and marketing teams.
- Implement AI-Native Growth Optimization: Explore and implement AI-native approaches to answer engine optimization, campaign operations automation, audience discovery algorithms, and multi-touch attribution measurement. Build systems that leverage machine learning to improve acquisition efficiency and marketing ROI at scale.
- Build Cross-Platform Attribution Measurement: Design and implement comprehensive acquisition measurement systems spanning web and mobile platforms, including click-ID capture mechanisms, probabilistic and deterministic identity matching, server-side conversion APIs, and warehouse-based multi-touch attribution models. Ensure accurate revenue attribution across all customer touchpoints.
- Establish Deep Linking Standards: Create standardized deep linking infrastructure and context transfer protocols across web, iOS, Android, and app store handoff flows. Enable seamless user journeys across platforms while maintaining accurate attribution and user experience consistency.
- Develop Reusable Growth Infrastructure: Build modular, reusable systems and platforms for promotions management, referral mechanics, campaign landing page generation, fraud detection and prevention controls, attribution tracking, and holdout group measurement for experimental rigor.
- Design Audience Synchronization Pipelines: Architect audience data pipelines that sync warehouse-defined cohorts, exclusion lists, and segmentation rules to each marketing delivery channel in real-time. Enable precise audience targeting while maintaining data governance and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Partners: Work directly with marketing, sales, and partnerships teams to translate ambiguous business requirements into well-defined technical systems. Identify highest-leverage growth problems and ship iterative solutions that become reusable platforms for the go-to-market organization.

### steps

## Full description
Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

##
About Replit

Replit is building the world's most ubiquitous AI coding agent. Replit Agent can be used by anybody to bring their ideas to life. Whether it's an app for yourself, the next great startup idea, or a tool to make you more productive at work, Replit Agent can help build it. Replit is also the leader in secure vibe coding. We protect apps, give users features to manage security risks, and help them vibe code more safely.

## About the role:

Replit is changing how people and companies turn ideas into software. Reaching those customers requires engineering that connects acquisition to the product experience and gives teams trustworthy evidence about what works.

This role goes beyond operating conventional marketing technology. You will rethink growth systems for a world where agents can observe performance, diagnose problems, take action, and learn from the result.

As the founding engineer for Growth Enablement, you will set the technical direction for this area. You will build agentic systems alongside shared foundations for attribution, audiences, lifecycle engagement, referrals, and promotions. The work spans web, mobile, billing, and data.

You will work directly with marketing, sales, and partnerships to find the highest-leverage problems and ship the first solutions. Successful projects will become platforms that help these teams move faster and give Replit a clearer view of what drives durable growth.

## You will:

* Design agentic growth systems that monitor performance, diagnose failures, run approved experiments, and improve from the results.
* Explore AI-native approaches to answer engine optimization, campaign operations, audience discovery, and measurement.
* Build acquisition measurement across web and mobile, including click-ID capture, identity matching, server-side conversion APIs, and warehouse attribution.
* Create a shared standard for deep links and context transfer across web, iOS, Android, and app-store handoffs.
* Build reusable systems for promotions, referrals, campaign landing pages, fraud controls, attribution, and holdout measurement.
* Build audience pipelines that sync warehouse-defined cohorts and exclusions to each delivery channel.
* Work directly with marketing, sales, and partnerships to turn business needs into technical systems.

##
Required skills and experience:

* 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong backend expertise in TypeScript/Node, Python, Go, or a similar language.
* Strong SQL skills and experience working with a data warehouse and event instrumentation.
* Hands-on experience with attribution, marketing technology, deep linking, payment webhooks, or high-scale event pipelines.
* A record of working with non-engineering partners to turn ambiguous business needs into shipped systems.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Built growth or martech infrastructure at a consumer or PLG company, such as referral systems, promotion platforms, lifecycle tooling, or CDPs.
* Built agents that act on business data with clear evaluations, permissions, and human controls.
* Experience with experimentation platforms such as Statsig and lifecycle tools such as Iterable.
* Familiarity with privacy and consent handling in marketing data pipelines.

## _Bonus Points_:

* Experience shipping mobile attribution with OneLink, Universal Links, App Links, or SKAN.
* Experience carrying attribution through payment systems such as Stripe or Razorpay.
* Regular use of AI agents to plan, implement, test, or review your work.

## What we value:

* Extreme ownership: identify important work, carry it through launch, and resolve blockers quickly.
* Data-driven decisions: define hypotheses and success criteria before launch, then change direction when the evidence calls for it.
* No borders: solve the highest-impact problem, whether it requires a PRD, a warehouse query, code, or campaign setup.
* Speed through reversibility: ship the smallest step that produces useful signal, and slow down for decisions that are hard to reverse.
* Strong communication: make technical constraints and business requirements clear to engineers and go-to-market partners.
