## Responsibilities

- Design System Architecture & Development: Architect and develop foundational design kits, component libraries, and reusable frameworks that enable consistent, high-quality user experiences across UiPath's entire product ecosystem. Establish patterns and standards that improve engineering velocity and product coherence across distributed teams.
- Cross-Functional Product Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers and Design teams to define building blocks, design guidelines, and engineering best practices. Translate product vision into scalable, maintainable frontend architecture while ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Design System Evangelism & Education: Champion design system adoption across engineering teams by educating colleagues on best practices, patterns, and principles. Advocate for consistency, usability, and efficiency standards that elevate overall platform quality and reduce technical debt.
- Frontend Innovation & Prototyping: Drive innovation by developing high-fidelity interactive prototypes and next-generation interfaces that enhance user experiences. Leverage user research, analytics data, and emerging UI/UX patterns to inform architectural decisions and technical implementations.
- Technology Evaluation & Integration: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in frontend development, cloud platforms, and AI tooling. Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and patterns that enhance platform capabilities, developer experience, and automation intelligence.
- Engineering Excellence & Process Improvement: Continuously improve frontend engineering practices through code quality initiatives, CI/CD optimization, and development workflow enhancements. Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices including Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to enhance team velocity and product reliability.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. Foster a culture of learning, technical excellence, and continuous improvement while establishing coding standards that promote best practices across the engineering organization.
- Talent Acquisition & Team Building: Actively participate in recruiting and hiring top engineering talent by conducting technical interviews, evaluating candidates, and building relationships with prospective engineers.
