Summary

Alan is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their Product Platform team, focusing on building robust, reusable internal services that power multiple product flows across their healthcare technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will help create high-impact, scalable platform solutions that enable product teams to move faster and deliver exceptional healthcare experiences.

What you'll do

Platform Service Development: Design, develop, and maintain reusable internal services and APIs that support multiple product flows across Alan's healthcare platform
System Architecture: Create elegant solutions for complex multi-country service challenges, focusing on scalability, reliability, and adoption
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product crews, Architecture Group, and Tech Foundation Area to align technical strategies and improve internal platform capabilities
Performance Optimization: Implement high-impact processes and improve operational tooling to enhance system observability and scalability
User Experience Enhancement: Develop foundational user experience components, ensuring quality and consistency across Alan's digital platforms

Technical

Backend DevelopmentStrong experience with Python/Flask and backend engineering principles
Frontend DevelopmentProficiency in React and full-stack development practices
Database ManagementExperience with PostgreSQL and database design

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's or equivalent professional experience in software engineering or related field

Experience

Platform Engineering3+ years in backend, platform, or infrastructure-oriented engineering roles
Service DesignExperience designing and maintaining internal services, APIs, or SDKs

PythonProficient in Python programming for backend development
