Summary

Better Mortgage is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their nascent Dallas/Irving engineering team, focusing on revolutionizing the mortgage industry through innovative AI-powered technology. The ideal candidate will help build and enhance Tinman, the company's proprietary AI platform, while collaborating across product, design, and operations teams to streamline mortgage workflows.

What you'll do

AI Platform Development: Build and enhance Tinman, Better's AI platform powering SaaS and mortgage operations

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with business stakeholders and loan operations teams to identify and resolve workflow friction points

API and Workflow Design: Design and implement robust, scalable APIs and workflows integrating mortgage, partner, and compliance systems

Cross-Team Engineering: Collaborate with engineers to evolve SaaS offerings and support tenanted partner integrations

Team Culture Building: Contribute to establishing the Dallas team's engineering culture of learning, excellence, and experimentation

What we look for
