What you'll do.

Cursor is seeking a Field Engineer based in India to serve as the technical voice for enterprise customers evaluating and implementing Cursor's AI-powered development platform. In this highly customer-facing role, you'll lead technical discovery, proof-of-concept engagements, and solution design while collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams. Responsibilities

  • Technical Discovery and Proof-of-Concept Leadership: Partner with Account Executives to lead comprehensive technical discovery sessions, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and orchestrate proof-of-concept engagements tailored to enterprise customer requirements and technical evaluation criteria.
  • Enterprise Relationship Building and Technical Advisory: Establish trusted partnerships with engineering leaders, CTOs, architects, and development teams by serving as a knowledgeable technical advisor who understands their organizational challenges, development workflows, and productivity pain points.
  • Solution Design and Implementation Strategy: Translate customer requirements and business objectives into comprehensive solution architectures, providing strategic guidance on rollout methodologies, prompt engineering strategies, context window optimization, and integration best practices.
  • Technical Presentations and Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver customized technical presentations, interactive whiteboard sessions, hands-on workshops, and training programs designed to educate customers on Cursor's AI capabilities and modern development workflows.
  • Internal Customer Advocacy and Product Influence: Serve as the voice of the customer within Cursor's organization, escalating feature requests, usage patterns, and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams while influencing roadmap priorities based on enterprise needs and competitive positioning.

About the Role

We’re hiring Field Engineers to partner with prospective and strategic enterprise customers. As a Field Engineer, you’ll be the technical face of Anysphere in the field, helping customers evaluate Cursor, guiding them through proofs of concept, and ensuring they see the full value of AI in their engineering workflows.
