Summary

Docker is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the sbx team in developing cutting-edge sandboxing solutions for AI agents. The ideal candidate will drive product development, manage a high-performing engineering team, and create secure, scalable environments for autonomous software development workflows.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for developing the sbx sandboxing product
Product Strategy: Drive the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals
Customer Experience: Own the end-to-end customer experience from initial product run to enterprise-level deployment
Operational Excellence: Ensure predictable delivery and maintain high standards of engineering quality
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication across teams and provide critical project status reporting
Talent Development: Recruit, retain, and grow top engineering talent while supporting individual career growth

What we look for

Technical

Software DevelopmentMinimum 5+ years of professional software development experience
Enterprise TechnologyExperience with enterprise-grade software requirements including security, governance, and compliance

Education

Technical DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred
