Summary

Edra is seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to build robust platform systems for their enterprise AI solution. The ideal candidate will be a skilled Python developer who excels at creating scalable, well-designed backend infrastructure that supports complex AI workflows and integrations.

What you'll do

Platform System Design: Design and build comprehensive platform systems using Python and FastAPI
Integration Development: Create and maintain connectors, integrations, and data pipelines connecting platform to external systems
Internal Tooling: Build internal libraries and interfaces to enhance engineering team productivity
End-to-End Ownership: Manage tasks comprehensively from context gathering to completion without direct product management supervision
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in product meetings and collaborate with engineers and AI specialists

What we look for

Technical

Programming Proficiency3+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python and/or TypeScript skills
System DesignAbility to design clean database schemas and build foundational systems
Problem SolvingComfortable with ambiguity and transforming vague problems into well-scoped solutions

Education

Technical BackgroundComputer science degree preferred but not mandatory

Experience

Software EngineeringMinimum 3 years of professional software development experience
Library/Tooling DevelopmentExperience creating developer tools and internal libraries
