The role

Summary

Hopper is seeking a Senior Front-end Engineer for their Stays & Packages team to build scalable travel booking experiences. The role involves architecting complex UI solutions for a multi-tenant travel commerce platform, focusing on creating performant, maintainable frontend systems that power global travel portals.

What you'll do

Frontend Architecture: Design and implement scalable front-end solutions for multi-tenant travel commerce platform
Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance through advanced techniques like lazy loading, code-splitting, and caching strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with Product Managers and business partners to define and refine product roadmap
Technical Documentation: Drive decisions and consensus through thoughtful, comprehensive documentation
User Experience: Create intuitive and responsive booking flows for travel products across multiple partner portals

Education

Experience

Frontend DevelopmentMinimum 5 years of professional frontend development experience
Complex Product DevelopmentExperience building complex product flows in e-commerce, travel, marketplace, or fintech applications
