Summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join the ChatGPT Image Generation team, focusing on developing innovative AI-powered visual creation tools. The ideal candidate will work across frontend and backend systems to build intuitive, scalable image generation experiences that transform how users create and interact with visual content.

What you'll do

Product Experience Development: Design and launch end-to-end product experiences for image generation and editing within ChatGPT
Frontend Engineering: Develop highly interactive frontend interfaces that make sophisticated AI capabilities intuitive and delightful
Backend Infrastructure: Build scalable backend services, APIs, and workflows for image creation, storage, and retrieval
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with researchers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to drive innovation
Performance Optimization: Optimize system performance across frontend responsiveness and backend scalability
User Insights Integration: Leverage experimentation and user feedback to continuously improve product engagement and usability
