Summary

OpenAI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Statsig Infrastructure team in Bellevue, Washington. The role focuses on designing and scaling critical experimentation and analytics infrastructure that supports OpenAI's product development ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on building high-performance, low-latency distributed systems.

What you'll do

Infrastructure Design: Design and operate low-latency configuration delivery systems for progressive rollouts across OpenAI's product suites
Data Infrastructure: Build scalable data ingestion and analytics infrastructure to support experimentation, product analytics, and feature performance monitoring
System Optimization: Improve performance, efficiency, and reliability of core infrastructure, ensuring systems remain fast and stable at global scale
Performance Engineering: Optimize query performance and data availability for experimentation and analytics workflows used across OpenAI
Technical Leadership: Lead large technical initiatives and shape the architecture of experimentation and rollout infrastructure

Education
