Summary

Perplexity AI is seeking a highly motivated Member of Technical Staff (Software Engineer) for their Growth team, focusing on developing innovative AI-driven product experiences. The ideal candidate will design and implement full-funnel growth strategies, build applied AI systems, and drive product adoption through data-informed experimentation and technical solutions.

What you'll do

Growth Strategy: Design and implement growth surfaces across activation, onboarding, SEO, lifecycle, conversion, retention, and upgrade moments
Experimentation: Lead end-to-end experiments from hypothesis formulation through implementation, analysis, and rollout
AI Systems: Build applied AI systems including classifiers, personalization, and recommendation surfaces
Product Integration: Translate behavioral signals and model outputs into durable product features
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, Data Science, Monetization, Marketing, and Applied AI teams
