Summary

Sentry is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for its critical Developer Infrastructure team, responsible for leading the development of platforms that enable AI-assisted software development. The ideal candidate will drive technical vision, team growth, and infrastructure innovation, shaping the future of developer productivity and tooling at a leading application monitoring company.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers building critical developer infrastructure platforms that accelerate software development at Sentry
Technical Strategy: Drive the evolution of Sentry's Developer Infrastructure platform, including cloud environments, CI/CD systems, and development lifecycle context
Technical Direction: Own team's technical architecture and make key decisions on remote development environments, selective testing, and agent orchestration
Team Development: Nurture engineers through coaching, mentorship, and strategic career development initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and platform engineering teams to develop AI-assisted development workflows that are fast, safe, and observable

Developer InfrastructureExtensive experience with CI/CD systems, build infrastructure, and platform engineering
Cloud TechnologiesFamiliarity with cloud-based development environments and container/VM orchestration
AI Development WorkflowsUnderstanding of AI-assisted development workflows and emerging coding agent technologies

Education

Advanced DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Software Engineering10+ years of software engineering experience, with focus on developer infrastructure or distributed systems
Engineering Management4+ years of engineering management experience, including team growth and multi-charter leadership
