Summary

Sentry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in JavaScript SDKs to join their innovative team, focusing on developing cutting-edge developer tools across multiple JavaScript frameworks. The ideal candidate will drive SDK development, contribute to open-source projects, and help shape the future of developer tooling with a strong emphasis on performance monitoring and error tracking.

What you'll do

SDK Development: Develop and maintain JavaScript SDKs for multiple frameworks including React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt, NestJS, and Hono
End-to-End Ownership: Plan, implement, and ship code with complete autonomy, including writing unit and integration tests
Documentation: Create clear and comprehensive documentation for SDKs and development processes
Open Source Collaboration: Engage with open-source communities and represent Sentry in technical committees
Customer Support: Assist Customer Operations team and directly interact with users to resolve critical issues

Education

DegreeComputer Science or related technical field preferred

Experience

Professional ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or web developer
