Summary

UiPath is seeking a Software Engineer II for their DevSecOps team in Bucharest, focused on building and maintaining critical internal platform services that enhance the company's software security and delivery processes. The ideal candidate will develop innovative tooling, implement secure infrastructure, and contribute to the company's automation and security objectives.

What you'll do

Internal Tooling Development: Develop automation tools and services that streamline security processes and engineering best practices

Platform Service Management: Maintain and improve critical internal platform services, including Secure Base Images and CVE tracking systems

CI/CD Optimization: Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of continuous integration and deployment pipelines

Security Integration: Collaborate with security teams to build systems that enhance software delivery security

Code Quality: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code with focus on scalability and extensibility

What we look for

Technical

Programming LanguagesProficiency in at least one of: Go, TypeScript, .NET, Python

Cloud TechnologiesExperience with cloud ecosystems, infrastructure as code, and Kubernetes

DevOps ToolsStrong knowledge of CI/CD processes, SDLC, and security scanning techniques

Education

Academic BackgroundBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Professional ExperienceMinimum 3 years of software engineering experience in DevSecOps or related fields
