The role

Summary

Zapier is seeking a Staff Engineer for its Revenue Zone, responsible for designing and owning the technical vision of critical billing and monetization infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead the development of scalable, configuration-driven systems that enable rapid pricing and packaging changes while ensuring financial accuracy and operational excellence.

What you'll do

Platform Architecture: Define and evolve the architectural direction of the Revenue Zone, balancing near-term delivery with long-term system durability
Technical Leadership: Serve as a technical leader, translating business context into clear technical direction and strategy
System Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reduce technical debt, and strengthen architectural foundations
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to drive ARR growth and improve monetization systems

Computer ScienceBachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related technical field
