Airwallex is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Founders' Lab, a high-velocity innovation hub that builds zero-to-one products with direct impact. The ideal candidate is a versatile, entrepreneurial engineer who can transform strategic visions into functional financial software, combining technical excellence with product thinking and rapid execution.

What you'll do

0-to-1 Product Development: Partner with CEO and leadership to transform strategic visions into functional financial software within weeks

Product Engineering: Synthesize business requirements, regulatory considerations, and cutting-edge technology to shape product roadmap

Rapid Execution: Run quick proofs-of-concept, deploy to live users, and iterate features while maintaining structural integrity

End-to-End Solution Delivery: Provide comprehensive solutions from API design to frontend implementation

What we look for

Technical

Backend Architecture6+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend design skills

Full-Stack CapabilityAbility to work across backend and frontend technologies

Education

Computer ScienceDegree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
