Summary

Airwallex is seeking a Staff Corporate Security Engineer to defend enterprise systems and employees from security threats including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access. This senior-level role involves digital forensics, incident response, tool development, and protecting corporate IT platforms in a high-growth fintech environment serving over 200,000 global businesses.

What you'll do

Incident Response Leadership: Lead incident response for malware, phishing attacks, and conduct digital forensics investigations
Security Controls Development: Design, develop, test, and evaluate new corporate security controls for rapid business growth
Threat Hunting: Perform proactive threat hunting through log sources to identify emerging threats and attack patterns
Security Automation: Design and implement security alerts and automated workflows to support the complete incident response lifecycle
Infrastructure Security: Secure corporate IT infrastructure and remediate security issues across identity providers, endpoints, and corporate networks
Security Tool Management: Deploy, configure, and operate security tooling with focus on measurable security impact

Security Monitoring ToolsStrong experience with CrowdStrike, Splunk, or other enterprise security monitoring platforms
Threat IntelligenceIn-depth understanding of common attacker tools, techniques, detection methods, and incident response procedures
Cloud Platform SecurityExperience with GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or other major cloud platforms
Identity ManagementHands-on experience with Okta, Google Workspace, and cloud-based VPN services
Endpoint SecurityExperience securing endpoints including MDM tools like Kandji and Microsoft Intune

Education

Bachelor's DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field
