Summary

Airwallex's Founders' Lab is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive innovative fintech AI products from 0-to-1, working directly with leadership to transform strategic visions into market-ready solutions. The ideal candidate will be a high-agency builder who can navigate ambiguity, own full-stack development, and contribute to cutting-edge financial technology innovations.

What you'll do

0-to-1 Product Collaboration: Partner with CEO and global leadership to transform strategic visions and AI capabilities into functional, market-ready software solutions

AI Technology Innovation: Lead technical evaluation and implementation of emerging AI technologies and intelligent workflows for the financial platform

Architectural Decision Making: Make pragmatic architectural choices that balance rapid prototyping with long-term scalability and maintainability

Full-Stack Development: Own end-to-end technical implementation across backend systems, data models, and user interfaces

Innovation Team Foundation: Bootstrap technical foundations for incubation projects to ensure smooth transition into standalone product lines
