The role

Summary

Assured is seeking a Staff AI Engineer to lead the development of cutting-edge AI-powered systems in insurance claims processing. The ideal candidate will architect scalable AI solutions, mentor engineering teams, and drive innovation in machine learning technologies to transform the insurance industry's approach to claims management.

What you'll do

AI System Architecture: Architect and deliver production-ready AI systems using advanced technologies like TypeScript and LangChain.js
Technical Leadership: Mentor engineering team members while maintaining hands-on technical involvement in complex projects
Infrastructure Design: Design and implement scalable infrastructure for AI-driven applications and services
API Development: Develop and optimize APIs and services that leverage Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and research teams to transform innovative ideas into impactful real-world solutions

What we look for

Technical

Programming LanguagesAdvanced proficiency in TypeScript; Strong background in Python (Django/Flask preferred)
AI and Machine LearningProven experience in delivering high-quality AI and LLM-driven products
System ArchitectureDemonstrated success in architecting and scaling AI systems to production environments

Education

Advanced DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Technical LeadershipProven track record of driving complex technical initiatives end-to-end
Production AI DevelopmentExtensive experience in developing and deploying production-ready AI systems
