Summary

Cursor is seeking a Field Engineer to be the technical interface with enterprise customers, helping them understand and implement AI-powered coding tools. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with exceptional communication skills, acting as a strategic advisor who can translate complex technical capabilities into tangible business value for potential clients.

What you'll do

Technical Discovery and Engagement: Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements for enterprise customers

Customer Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers, serving as their technical advisor and solution expert

Solution Design: Translate complex customer requirements into comprehensive solution designs, providing guidance on implementation best practices, prompt strategies, and context configuration

Technical Communication: Develop and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops customized to specific customer needs

Internal Advocacy: Act as the customer's technical representative internally, influencing product roadmap priorities and escalating critical feedback to Product and Engineering teams

Customer Onboarding: Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure smooth customer handoff and successful technical onboarding
