The role

Summary

Cursor is seeking a Field Engineer in Australia to support enterprise customers by leveraging deep technical expertise and communication skills. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical advisor, helping customers understand and implement AI-powered coding tools while driving product adoption and customer success.

What you'll do

Technical Discovery and Engagement: Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements for enterprise customers.

Customer Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with engineering leaders, architects, and developers, serving as their technical advisor and guide.

Solution Design: Translate complex customer requirements into comprehensive solution designs, providing guidance on rollout strategies, prompt engineering, and context configuration.

Technical Communication: Develop and deliver technical presentations, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops tailored to specific customer needs and technical environments.

Product Advocacy: Act as the customer's internal technical advocate, influencing product roadmap priorities and escalating critical feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Customer Onboarding: Collaborate with post-sales teams to ensure smooth customer handoff and successful implementation of Cursor's AI coding tools.
