Summary

Deel seeks a Senior Frontend Engineer with 5+ years of React.js and TypeScript expertise to join their global team building HR and payroll infrastructure. The role involves working in cross-functional teams to develop scalable SaaS solutions serving millions of users across 150+ countries, with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences in a remote-first environment.

What you'll do

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Backend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA engineers to deliver cohesive solutions
Product Development Lifecycle: Participate in product planning from discovery through deployment, providing input at all stages
Feature Development: Develop robust new features and APIs to continuously improve industry-leading HR and payroll products
Bug Resolution: Identify and fix bugs at DeelSpeed to maintain high-quality user experiences
Customer Experience: Ensure customers receive a white-glove experience with all product interactions
Application Architecture: Design, code, test, and maintain scalable React applications using TypeScript
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
Performance Optimization: Optimize frontend performance for global users across different network conditions

Technical

React.js Expertise5+ years of expert knowledge in React.js including Class Components, Functional Components, and React Hooks
TypeScript ProficiencyAdvanced TypeScript skills for building type-safe, scalable applications
State ManagementStrong knowledge of state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Context API
Frontend FundamentalsExpert-level HTML and CSS skills with modern layout techniques
Backend UnderstandingFirm understanding of server-side languages, particularly Node.js
Software Engineering ExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer

Education
