Summary

Deliveroo is seeking an Analytics Engineering Director to lead a global team of over 100 analytics engineers, driving the company's data strategy and transforming complex data into measurable business impact across product, commercial, and operational domains.

What you'll do

Global Strategy: Define and execute the global vision and roadmap for analytics engineering, with a focus on evolving data strategy to be AI-first

Team Leadership: Lead a high-performing global organization of analytics engineers across UK, Europe, India, and US, fostering technical excellence and continuous growth

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with senior stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and Business to embed analytics in strategic decision-making

Data Governance: Champion data governance by establishing rigorous standards for modeling, semantics, testing, and auditability of data products

Technical Leadership: Maintain technical depth by reviewing SQL/data models, guiding architectural decisions, and troubleshooting high-priority incidents
