Summary

Deliveroo is seeking an Analytics Engineering Manager to lead a team of Analytics Engineers in their London headquarters, driving data product development and decision-making across their three-sided marketplace. The role involves managing a team, shaping data infrastructure, and contributing to the strategic evolution of analytics engineering at the company.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Directly manage a team of Analytics Engineers within a specific business domain, overseeing their performance, professional development, and team well-being

Strategic Planning: Own the Analytics Engineering roadmap for the domain, identifying high-leverage investments and prioritizing technical initiatives with business stakeholders

Technical Governance: Drive data product development with clear ownership, establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs), implement data observability, and define data contracts

Technical Involvement: Maintain hands-on technical engagement through SQL review, architectural guidance, and direct problem-solving

Organizational Development: Contribute to company-wide Analytics Engineering standards, tooling decisions, and process improvements

Team Culture: Build an inclusive, high-performing team culture through regular feedback, performance management, and effective team rituals

Talent Acquisition: Partner with Recruiting to hire diverse and talented Analytics Engineering professionals
