What you'll do

Team Leadership: Lead and grow multi-disciplinary teams of Backend, iOS, Android, and Web engineers, fostering diverse and high-achieving environments

Technical Strategy: Drive technical and product strategy by setting clear project goals, guiding implementation choices, and ensuring team hits group-level metrics

Mentorship & Culture: Champion learning culture through active mentorship, helping engineers and emerging leaders accelerate their careers

Process Scaling: Scale engineering practices by implementing processes and values that improve team efficiency and code quality

Technical Engagement: Maintain technical involvement through code reviews and design contributions, ensuring system health and observability

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Operations teams to influence broader roadmap and strategic initiatives

Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and career development for engineering team members

Talent Development: Handle hiring, onboarding, and supporting personal growth of colleagues across multiple engineering disciplines
