Summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineering Manager to lead and scale their Analytics Engineering capability across multiple business domains in London. The role involves managing multiple teams, driving data product strategies, and shaping the future of analytics engineering within a complex, innovative food delivery marketplace.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Lead multiple analytics engineering teams across several business domains, managing AE Managers and ensuring team performance, development, and wellbeing

Strategic Roadmap Development: Own mid-to-long-term Analytics Engineering roadmap, identifying high-leverage investments and building strategic cases with senior stakeholders

Organizational Innovation: Contribute to company-wide decisions on tooling, architecture, standards, and processes to evolve Analytics Engineering practices

Data Product Management: Drive a data products mindset with clear ownership, service level agreements (SLAs), observability, and data contracts

Talent Development: Coach and develop Analytics Engineering Managers through performance management, motivation, and fostering a culture of technical rigor

Education

Advanced DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Leadership ExperienceProven track record of managing managers and leading technical teams in analytics or data engineering

Multi-domain ManagementDemonstrated ability to manage teams across multiple business domains in a matrix environment
