The role

Summary

Hopper is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to architect travel commerce engines for APAC markets, focusing on building localized travel portals for financial institutions and consumer brands. The role involves developing scalable microservices, leveraging AI technologies, and creating high-performance web interfaces for complex e-commerce environments in the rapidly growing Asian travel market.

What you'll do

Commerce Engine Architecture: Design and operate full-stack solutions and APIs optimized for high-scale B2B commerce partnerships across APAC markets
Localization Development: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to localize portal features, ensuring seamless integration with regional payment and distribution standards
AI-Driven Development: Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tooling to generate production-grade code that accelerates delivery of partner-specific requirements
Microservices Management: Develop and maintain gRPC and REST-based microservices powering real-time travel inventory and fintech ancillaries
Performance Optimization: Iterate quickly on engineering improvements to enhance scalability and performance of B2B travel ecosystems
