Summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to build cutting-edge image generation features for the ChatGPT mobile app. The role involves creating intuitive, high-performance mobile experiences that leverage advanced multimodal AI technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative image creation and editing capabilities to millions of users.

What you'll do

Feature Development: Build and ship new Android features for image generation and editing experiences within ChatGPT mobile app
User Experience Design: Create intuitive interfaces that make advanced AI capabilities accessible and seamless for users
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, Research, and Engineering teams to bring multimodal capabilities to production
Performance Optimization: Drive improvements in app performance, reliability, architecture, testing, and developer tooling
Mobile Workflow Enhancement: Optimize media-heavy workflows, rendering performance, networking, and responsiveness across diverse Android devices
Project Ownership: Own projects end-to-end from ideation through launch, measurement, and iterative improvement
