Summary

Plaid is seeking a Data Scientist for their Network Value team to drive innovative fintech solutions by leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning. The ideal candidate will transform complex financial data into strategic insights, supporting Plaid's mission of empowering financial connectivity across thousands of institutions.

What you'll do

Strategic Data Analysis: Perform complex analyses to uncover business opportunities and translate intricate questions into actionable analytics projects

Data Modeling: Design and maintain scalable data models and dashboards to enhance visibility into core systems and drive operational excellence

Machine Learning Development: Build and iterate on machine learning prototypes to power insight-driven products and discover new sources of customer and business value

OKR Management: Define and track Objectives and Key Results to quantify progress toward critical business goals

Experimental Design: Design and analyze experiments to guide product decisions and optimize feature launches

Cultural Leadership: Champion a data-first culture by promoting analytical rigor and evidence-based decision-making across the organization

Data Science SkillsProficiency in SQL, Python, and large-scale data analysis

Machine LearningExperience in developing ML prototypes and predictive models

Data Pipeline ManagementAbility to work with tools like Airflow and dbt

Education

Advanced DegreeBachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field

Experience

Professional ExperienceMinimum 2+ years as a Data Scientist or in a related analytics role
