The role

Summary

A Senior Software Engineer role at Poshmark's Cloud Platform team, focused on building and scaling a high-traffic e-commerce marketplace using distributed cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will design and implement innovative product features, work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, and contribute to the growth of a social commerce platform serving 165 million members.

What you'll do

Cloud Platform Development: Build applications and services on a distributed cloud architecture using NoSQL data solutions, queueing technologies, and search infrastructure
Product Feature Implementation: Design and implement new marketplace features using an iterative, data-driven approach
Platform Optimization: Build, analyze, tune, and enhance core components of the Poshmark product and cloud platform supporting millions of e-commerce transactions
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product and customer support teams to drive business growth and improve platform capabilities

Cloud ComputingExperience with Amazon AWS or other cloud computing platforms
Programming LanguagesProficiency in Ruby, JRuby, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
