The role

Summary

Poshmark is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for its Cloud Platform Team to lead the development of scalable product features, drive technical improvements, and mentor team members in a dynamic social commerce platform environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-scale systems, cloud technologies, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'll do

Platform Feature Development: Lead the development of scalable product features for content and commerce platforms, focusing on technical innovation and system improvements
Technical Leadership: Serve as a partner to platform security and content integrity teams, executing initiatives related to payments, shipping, and content
Architecture Evolution: Identify and drive opportunities for moving towards a microservices architecture, improving overall platform technical infrastructure
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work extensively with engineering teams, product managers, data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers to drive projects from conception to release
Team Mentorship: Mentor and lead other team members, helping to develop technical expertise and grow engineering capabilities
