The role

Summary

Quora is seeking a talented Staff iOS Engineer to join the Poe product team, developing an innovative AI-powered platform. The role involves building and maintaining the Poe iOS app, creating user-facing features, and working at the forefront of AI mobile technology in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

What you'll do

iOS App Development: Design, build, and maintain the Poe iOS app within a small team of mobile engineers
Feature Development: Build new user-facing features and contribute to driving the Poe product roadmap
Infrastructure Creation: Create tools and infrastructure to enable rapid development of the mobile experience
Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Poe product team and other engineers to enhance overall user experience
Full Development Lifecycle: Own the entire software development process from timeline estimation to coding, testing, and release

iOS Development Experience6+ years of experience developing consumer-facing iOS applications
Swift ExpertiseAdvanced proficiency in Swift, iOS frameworks, and mobile engineering best practices

Technical BackgroundBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
