The role

Summary

Replit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Agent Platform team, focusing on building powerful tools that bridge AI and product engineering. The role involves developing high-throughput backend applications, creating collaborative "Multiplayer Computer" interfaces, and enhancing the core AI agent experience with innovative full-stack solutions.

What you'll do

Backend Service Development: Build high-throughput backend applications and services, including streaming chat systems between users and AI agents

Collaborative Infrastructure Design: Design a 'Multiplayer Computer' enabling real-time collaboration between humans and AI agents on shared systems

Product Engineering Enablement: Develop frontend and backend infrastructure that empowers product engineers to rapidly create delightful user experiences

System Interface Development: Create robust, well-crafted interfaces between the AI Agent and internal/external agentic systems
