Satispay is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join their Core Team in Milan, focusing on critical payment platform infrastructure, risk management systems, and foundational financial technologies. The ideal candidate will drive technical excellence in microservices architecture, banking integrations, and cross-team technical leadership within a fast-paced FinTech environment.

What you'll do

Core Platform Engineering: Design and evolve sensitive system domains like Transaction Ledger, IAM, and Payment Orchestration
Risk Management: Develop and optimize services for bank integrations, credit risk assessment, and real-time fraud detection
Technical Leadership: Drive technical analysis for cross-service projects and produce comprehensive documentation
Engineering Excellence: Implement rigorous testing strategies and ensure safe, maintainable code rollouts
Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What we look for

Backend EngineeringMinimum 5 years of backend software engineering experience
