Sentry is seeking a Senior Android SDK Engineer to join their Mobile SDK team, focusing on developing cutting-edge mobile app monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will work on innovative Android technologies, create robust APIs, and contribute to performance monitoring solutions for developers worldwide.

What you'll do

SDK Architecture: Guide Android SDK development from core architecture to final product experience
Feature Development: Pioneer new features like Profiling, Session Replay, and performance monitoring
API Design: Design robust, high-quality APIs capable of handling massive scale
Technical Leadership: Serve as the go-to expert for solving complex customer challenges
Open Source Contribution: Contribute full-time to major open-source projects

What we look for

Technical

Android Development5+ years of professional experience with strong focus on mobile platforms
Language ProficiencyExpert-level Kotlin and Java for Android development

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field preferred

Experience

SDK DevelopmentProven experience in SDK development and/or developer tooling
Mobile EngineeringComprehensive understanding of mobile platform intricacies
