Summary

Snowflake's Cortex Code team is seeking an AI Engineer to develop cutting-edge coding agents and AI-driven software engineering solutions. The role focuses on building enterprise-grade AI tools that transform how developers interact with data, requiring deep expertise in AI engineering, system design, and production-ready machine learning implementations.

What you'll do

AI Product Development: Own end-to-end features for Snowflake Cortex Code products, including building agentic workflows, coding harnesses, and evaluation pipelines.

Context Engineering: Develop enterprise-grade context engineering solutions, including function calling, tool schemas, guardrails, agent teams, and verification/repair mechanisms.

Evaluation and Optimization: Design comprehensive evaluation frameworks, create golden sets, develop rubrics and metrics, analyze errors, and conduct experiments to improve AI model performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product and infrastructure teams to translate customer problems into innovative AI solutions and productionize system improvements.
