The role

Summary

Snowflake is seeking a Data Platform Architect in their Solution Engineering organization to provide hands-on expertise in designing analytical solutions using the Snowflake Data Cloud. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive customer adoption, demonstrate technical capabilities, and serve as a key technical expert for Snowflake's application features across the Americas.

What you'll do

Technical Solution Design: Provide hands-on expertise in designing and architecting analytical solutions using Snowflake Data Cloud for technical decision makers

Customer Engagement: Convey strategic advantages of Snowflake's capabilities, conduct follow-up engagements, and facilitate sales progression

Technical Demonstrations: Develop and deliver custom demonstrations highlighting Snowflake's value proposition tailored to specific client requirements

Technical Leadership: Function as the principal technical authority articulating Snowflake's application functionalities to technical stakeholders

Content Development: Publish technical content including blog posts, conference presentations, and technical collateral to support team and company scaling

Proof of Concept Management: Partner with account teams to scope and drive POCs, including executive readouts and business value cases

SQL Skills5+ years of SQL and SQL data modeling expertise

Cloud PlatformsFamiliar with architecting on cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Education

Academic BackgroundBachelor's Degree required; Master's in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields preferred
