Summary

Snowflake is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Snowflake Apps organization, driving strategic development of application products including Streamlit, Native Apps, and React platforms. The role requires an innovative leader who can architect cutting-edge AI-powered interfaces, scale engineering teams, and drive cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, fast-moving cloud data platform environment.

What you'll do

Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for Snowflake Apps teams and drive top engineering talent recruitment

Architectural Vision: Define and own architectural design for Snowflake Applications with a focus on AI-powered interfaces

Product Strategy: Influence product roadmap and create comprehensive architectural designs

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration with design and product management teams

Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop high-impact engineering teams

Enterprise Programs: Drive horizontal programs across the enterprise while maintaining highest standards of technical excellence
