Summary

Snowflake is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Catalog Services & Integrations Platform team, focusing on building interoperable metadata and transaction foundations for Snowflake's Lakehouse. The role involves driving innovation in data platform connectivity, open data standards, and creating seamless integration across multi-cloud architectures.

What you'll do

Team Leadership: Lead and guide the Catalog Services & Integrations Platform team in developing high-performance, scalable integration layers for external catalog interoperability

Platform Development: Design and implement integration platforms that enable metadata discovery and access across the modern data stack

Open Ecosystem Strategy: Drive initiatives to enhance cross-platform compatibility and open table format support

Technical Innovation: Spearhead development of Horizon Catalog and Managed Polaris capabilities, implementing Iceberg REST Catalog support

Ecosystem Collaboration: Facilitate interoperability with platforms like Google BigLake, Microsoft OneLake, and Databricks Unity Catalog
