The role

Summary

Snowflake is seeking a Principal Architect for their Global Manufacturing CTO team who will drive strategic data and AI solutions in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will leverage deep technical expertise to design transformative architectures, engage with enterprise customers, and help shape Snowflake's product roadmap for manufacturing use cases.

What you'll do

Strategic Customer Engagement: Drive customer relationships by providing strategic technology guidance in manufacturing contexts
Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end data and AI architectures tailored to manufacturing industry challenges
Product Innovation: Influence Snowflake's product roadmap through structured feedback and industry insights
Thought Leadership: Develop technical content, present at conferences, and create industry-specific enablement materials
Partner Collaboration: Engage with ecosystem partners to develop best practices and innovative solutions

What we look for

Technical

Cloud Architecture3+ years of customer-facing cloud architecture development experience
Data TechnologiesExtensive experience with database, data warehouse, ETL, and analytics technologies
ProgrammingStrong knowledge of SQL and Python, with additional experience in Java or Scala preferred

Education

Minimum QualificationBachelor's Degree
Preferred QualificationMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Industry Expertise10+ years of architecture experience in manufacturing technology
Customer EngagementProven ability to work with senior executives and establish technical credibility
