Summary

UiPath is seeking a Forward Deployed Data Scientist to partner directly with customers across various sectors, leveraging machine learning, data science, and AI to solve real-world commercial challenges. This role requires 4+ years of data science experience and involves deploying, customizing, and building AI products to transform customer businesses while acting as a core member of the Applied Sciences and Engineering team.

What you'll do

Customer Collaboration: Work directly with customers to deploy, customize, and build AI products that transform their businesses

Product Development: Act as a core member of the Applied Sciences and Engineering team, shaping products and driving business growth through data-driven solutions

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with diverse stakeholders from academic experts to customer teams, handling various situations independently

Technology Research: Stay current with technological developments, research, and emerging trends in machine learning, AI, and data science

Statistical Analysis: Apply expertise in statistical modeling, forecasting, optimization, and advanced analytics to address customer needs

Data Communication: Communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Data Processing: Work with various datasets using Python, SQL, and statistical software to derive actionable insights

Data Visualization: Contribute to data visualization efforts and support decision-making by translating data into business value

Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to expand role impact as UiPath grows and evolves

What we look for

Technical

Data Science Experience4+ years of professional experience in data science roles

Machine Learning ExpertiseStrong knowledge in machine learning, data science, and AI with passion for innovative applications

Programming SkillsProficiency in R, Python, or similar programming languages with ability to quickly learn new technologies

Database KnowledgeFamiliarity with relational databases and intermediate-level SQL skills

Statistical AnalysisSolid understanding of broad range of statistical techniques and data analysis methods

Education

Relevant DegreeBachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
