Summary

UiPath is seeking a Software Engineer II for their Insights / Platform Analytics team in Bellevue, focusing on building scalable cloud infrastructure and analytics systems. The role involves designing backend services, developing cloud resource automation, and integrating AI-driven capabilities into platform observability and distributed systems.

What you'll do

Backend System Design: Design and build scalable backend systems and distributed services for cloud infrastructure
Cloud Resource Automation: Develop automation solutions for provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management of cloud resources
Platform Analytics: Build and operate systems enabling platform-level analytics, observability, and insights at scale
Kubernetes Infrastructure: Contribute to Kubernetes-based infrastructure, including developing operators, controllers, and platform services
Data Platform Integration: Work on integrations with data warehouses, pipelines, and platforms like Snowflake to support platform intelligence
AI Engineering: Explore and apply AI capabilities to solve complex engineering and platform challenges

What we look for

Technical

Cloud PlatformsProficiency in cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)
KubernetesExperience with Kubernetes (K8s), containers, and cloud-native systems
Programming LanguagesStrong proficiency in C#, with additional experience in Python and/or Scala
Infrastructure as CodeExperience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Backend Systems4+ years of software engineering experience building backend or distributed systems
Production SystemsDemonstrated ability to own, debug, and resolve production system issues

System DesignStrong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design
Cloud Native TechnologiesExpertise in cloud-native infrastructure and containerization
