The role

Summary

UiPath is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their Internal Developer Platform team, building foundational platform components and services that empower hundreds of developers across the company. This role focuses on creating reusable solutions, improving developer experience, and ensuring high-quality, secure platform infrastructure using primarily C# and cloud technologies.

What you'll do

Platform Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for internal developer platform components

Performance Optimization: Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of platform applications and services

Issue Resolution: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues

Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across UiPath to design and engineer areas of products and services

Engineering Practices: Help establish effective and agile engineering practices across the organization

Code Quality: Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation standards

What we look for

Technical

Programming Experience4+ years of experience in software engineering using high-level programming languages like C# or Java

Cloud SystemsExperience working with cloud systems, preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP

Object-Oriented ProgrammingStrong grasp of OOP principles and architectural design patterns

Concurrent ProgrammingVery good understanding of multithreading, synchronization, TPL, and asynchronous programming

Data Structures & AlgorithmsDeep understanding of data structures and algorithms with associated time/memory complexity analysis

Education

Computer Science DegreeBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Distributed TeamsExperience working with globally distributed teams, planning feature development, and designing system components

Business StrategyBroad understanding of role function within overall business strategy and decision-making processes
