The role

Summary

Welltech is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build and evolve cross-platform mobile and web applications for their wellness technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate will drive technical innovation across mobile, web, and infrastructure layers, with a strong focus on AI-assisted development, scalable architectures, and delivering impactful user experiences.

What you'll do

Cross-Platform Development: Build and evolve a cross-platform ecosystem covering mobile, web, backend-for-frontend (BFF), and infrastructure layers using an AI-first approach
Scalable Architecture: Design and implement scalable foundations for health and fitness applications using React Native and modern web technologies
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work directly with product, design, marketing, and data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and experiments
AI-Driven Workflows: Develop and improve AI-agentic workflows across the software development lifecycle to increase productivity, code quality, and delivery speed
Platform Capabilities: Create shared platform capabilities, internal tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted workflows to improve development efficiency
Media Integration: Develop native mobile integrations and advanced media experiences, including video playback, streaming, and HLS-based solutions
Engineering Culture: Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering workflows

React NativeStrong commercial experience with React Native and TypeScript-based application development
Full-Stack ArchitectureDeep understanding of mobile, web, BFF, and cloud/infrastructure layer architectures
Cross-Platform DevelopmentExperience building scalable cross-platform systems and shared application foundations
CI/CDProficiency with CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and modern developer workflows

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience

Experience

Software ArchitectureProven experience in designing modular systems, ensuring scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability
AI-Assisted DevelopmentDemonstrated ability to work in AI-assisted development environments and quickly adapt to new AI-driven workflows
