Summary

Xero is seeking a talented Engineer to join their AI Platform team, focusing on building and operating an internal AI platform that enables secure and scalable AI-powered services across the organization. The role involves developing core platform components, implementing observability capabilities, and creating shared foundations for AI technology deployment.

What you'll do

AI Platform Development: Build and evolve Xero's agentic platform for creating and deploying AI agents into production environments

Platform Infrastructure: Develop core platform components using cloud-native technologies to support scalable AI workloads

AI Observability: Implement evaluation and observability capabilities to ensure responsible and reliable AI usage across the business

Security Architecture: Refine AI Gateway to provide secure access to multiple large language model providers for internal engineering teams
