The role

Summary

A Senior DevOps Engineer role at Xero's Tax Enablement Team, focusing on supporting product development teams by designing and managing AWS infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and enabling continuous delivery across AWS EC2 and Kubernetes environments. What you'll do

Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage high-availability AWS infrastructure supporting tax product development teams

CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust continuous integration and delivery pipelines for AWS EC2 and Kubernetes environments

Security Optimization: Lead security patching, infrastructure hardening, and implement security development initiatives

System Modernization: Refactor complex monolithic systems into scalable, resilient distributed components

Team Enablement: Mentor and coach engineers, create documentation, runbooks, and facilitate knowledge sharing
