Summary

Zip is seeking a Senior/Staff Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making and insights within their innovative procurement platform. The ideal candidate will leverage comprehensive data resources to develop metrics, build data pipelines, and create impactful visualizations that directly contribute to the company's growth and operational excellence.

What you'll do

Data Analysis and Insights: Develop comprehensive data models and extract valuable insights from complex datasets to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Data Pipeline Development: Create and maintain efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility for cross-functional teams.
Visualization and Reporting: Design intuitive dashboards and generate compelling reports that translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and various teams to identify analytical challenges and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth.
Metrics Development: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide meaningful insights into business operations and strategic objectives.

Professional Experience4-8 years of professional experience in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Data Analysis roles
Industry ExperiencePreferred experience at a growth-stage internet or software company
