Summary

1Password is seeking a full-stack or backend-leaning Developer for their Insights team, focusing on building robust data infrastructure and core services that drive security and customer value across their enterprise password management platform. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative problem-solver with strong backend development skills, passionate about creating scalable data solutions and contributing to the digital safety of millions.

What you'll do

Software Development: Code, test, debug, deliver, and maintain production software systems for new and existing product features

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product releases and communicate technical requirements effectively

Team Mentorship: Mentor junior team members through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and pair programming

Project Planning: Participate in planning by identifying major tasks, breaking down work, and providing accurate estimates

Code Quality: Write comprehensive tests, review code, and maintain high coding standards

Documentation: Generate and review documentation on code processes to ensure scalability and knowledge transfer

What we look for

Technical

Backend Development2+ years of professional software development experience, preferably with Go

Programming LanguagesProficiency in at least one modern backend language (Go, Node.js, Ruby, Python)

TestingExperience with comprehensive testing methodologies and debugging techniques

Education

Computer ScienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field preferred

Experience

Backend EngineeringMinimum 2 years of professional software development experience
